Our Story

I am thrilled to have this chance to welcome you to Bombay Duck!  I started Bombay Duck 29 years ago, from my kitchen table, out of the conviction that there was a real desire out there for well-designed, well-made homewares, bright with colour and rich with pattern.  Combining this, with the best of Indian craftsmanship to bring these homewares to life, we introduced our first collections to customers across the world.  We am proud to say that Bombay Duck was one of the first companies to do this.

Over the years, we have built relationships and a business; we still work with the same small factories and workshops in India, although now with the next generations of our original collaborators!  We could not have achieved this with out our loyal trade buyers, some of whom we have worked with since the very beginning.
